  1. I have to be honest, books, unless displayed in clever ways, look too cluttery to me. I prefer whenever possible to set apart a study or library for book storage. If I'm not careful I find myself cluttering my coffee tables, end tables and counters with books, albeit interesting ones for visitors to browse. I like to place books in the guest rooms about local history, art and travel. There are some really clever ideas here, but most of them look very urban. I wonder if anyone has come up with some ideas for book storage in an adobe pueblo style house?
